Wine Country Classic Offers Best in Vintage Racing
and Wine Country Living

The best of wine country living and vintage automobile racing will come together at Infineon Raceway May 30 to June 1, 2008 with the annual Wine Country Classic Vintage Car Races.

You have access not only to some of the most exotic and vintage racecars in the world, including a 1915 Ford Model T, you’ll also gain entrance to the COPIA Wine Country Pavilion, featuring gourmet wines and foods from area purveyors.

It’s a celebration of wine and vintage racing on the country’s most dynamic road course at Infineon Raceway. In all, more than 250 vintage racecars will not only be on display, but they will also tackle the 12-turn, 2.52-mile serpentine circuit in a full weekend of racing in nine categories.
The paddock is open to the public — free of charge — so you can get an up-close look at these amazing machines and also visit with the drivers.

Over the years, the Wine Country Pavilion has also featured wonderful wineries from all over the Sonoma Valley, including Korbel, Ravenswood, Cline Cellars, Sebastiani Vineyards and others. That tradition will continue as COPIA will manage the pavilion in 2006 and will secure approximately 35 wineries/food purveyors. COPIA, located in the beautiful Napa Valley, is world-famous for its offerings of exceptional wine and food tasting programs, as well as art exhibitions, organic edible gardens and concerts.

Your price of admission into the Wine Country Classic, will secure you a limited number of free food and wine tastings at the COPIA Wine Country Pavilion as well as a free souvenir event program. All proceeds from the pavilion will go to Speedway Children’s Charities, the charitable arm of Infineon Raceway.

Enjoy the weekend!.
